Mr Jurij Franko, a Slovenian famous skier, was awarded with the Japanese Foreign Minister’s Commendation for FY 2014 and the award ceremony was held on Friday, 3rd October by the Ambassador Jomori.
The Commendation is awarded for his contribution to the development of skiing skills in Japan. Mr. Franko has put his efforts in promoting the Slovenia-Japan relations in other areas as well.
At the ceremony, Ambassador Jomori offered congratulations to him and hoped for Mr. Franko’ s continuous contribution to the development of the friendly relations between Japan and Slovenia. Mr. Franko, on the other hand, thanked his friends in Japan and Slovenia and expressed intention to continue to devote himself to strengthening bilateral relations in the future.
