Ob slovesnosti podpisa sporazuma o pobratenju med mestoma Fukui in Kranj, ki je potekala 22. septembra, je veleposlanica Yoshida izrekla naslednje čestitke:

   

Ob podpisu sporazuma o pobratenju med mestoma Fukui in Kranj izrekam iskrene čestitke.    Izmenjave med obema mestoma, zlasti na področju izobraževanja in športa, se od olimpijskih iger v Tokiu leta 2020 uspešno razvijajo. Prepričana sem, da bo ta podpis še dodatno utrdil medsebojno zaupanje ter ustvaril trdne temelje za nadaljnje sodelovanje in poglabljanje prijateljskih vezi.    Japonsko in Slovenijo povezujejo pristni in srčni odnosi, s skupnimi temeljnimi vrednotami. Verjamem, da bo sodelovanje med mestoma pomembno prispevalo k nadaljnji krepitvi dvostranskega sodelovanja med državama.    Z iskrenim upanjem pričakujem, da bodo izmenjave med mestoma v prihodnje še živahnejše ter obrodile bogate sadove na področjih kulture, izobraževanja, turizma in gospodarstva.    Ob tej priložnosti izrekam globoko spoštovanje vsem, ki so prispevali k sklenitvi tega sporazuma, ter želim nadaljnji uspešen razvoj obeh mest in zdravje ter blaginjo njunih prebivalcev.   22 September 2025   Yoshida Akiko Veleposlanica Japonske v Sloveniji

On the signing ceremony for the town twinning agreement between Fukui and Kranj City, held on 22 September, Ambassador Yoshida issued the following congratulatory message:

   

I extend my heartfelt congratulations on the signing of the sister city agreement between Fukui and Kranj City.    Exchanges between the two cities, centered on education and sport, have been promoted since the Tokyo Olympics 2020, I am confident that this signing will further deepen the existing trust and serve as a foundation for new cooperation and friendship.    Japan and Slovenia enjoy cordial relations as partners sharing fundamental values, and I believe that such city-to-city cooperation will significantly contribute to the further enhancement of bilateral relations between the two countries.    I earnestly hope that heartwarming exchanges between the two cities will become increasingly vibrant and yield fruitful results in the fields of culture, education, tourism, and economy.    I would like to express my deepest respect to all those involved in this agreement and sincerely wish for the two cities’ continued prosperity and health and happiness of the people of the two cities.   22 September 2025   Yoshida Akiko Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to the Republic of Slovenia
