Hanami v mestu Kočevje

24. aprila je v Kočevju potekal dogodek, posvečen praznovanju cvetočih češnjevih dreves, ki se ga je udeležil tudi župan Gregor Košir. Češnjeva drevesa v Kočevju je leta 2022 podarilo in zasadilo podjetje Yaskawa Electric, ki deluje v mestu, kot simbol prijateljstva med Japonsko in Slovenijo. Drevesa, za katera skrbno negujejo prebivalci Kočevja, so tudi letos čudovito zacvetela.
Predstavnik veleposlaništva, ki se je udeležil dogodka, je ob tem poudaril minljivo lepoto češnjevih cvetov, saj cvetijo le približno en teden, vendar prav zaradi tega skupno uživanje v cvetenju skupaj z lokalno skupnostjo prinaša še večje veselje.
On April 24th, a cherry blossom viewing event celebrating the blooming of cherry blossoms in Kočevje was held with the attendance of Mayor Gregor Košir. The cherry trees in Kočevje were donated and planted in 2022 by Yaskawa Electric, a company operating in the city, as a symbol of friendship between Japan and Slovenia. These cherry trees, carefully nurtured by the citizens, bloomed beautifully again this year.
An embassy staff who attended the event touched upon the fleeting beauty of the cherry blossoms, noting that they will only last a week, but also stated that this makes the joy of enjoying the blossoms together with the local community all the greater.
