Sprejem ob praznovanju odlikovanja nekdanjega predsednika vlade Cerarja

11. junija je veleposlanica Yoshida v svoji rezidenci gostila sprejem ob podelitvi lente reda vzhajajočega sonca dr. Miroslavu Cerarju ml., nekdanjemu predsedniku Vlade Republike Slovenije.
To odlikovanje priznava izjemen prispevek gospoda Cerarja k dvostranskim odnosom, zlasti na področjih gospodarstva ter znanosti in tehnologije, v času njegovega mandata predsednika vlade.
Veleposlanica Yoshida je v svojem nagovoru izpostavila pomemben napredek v dvostranskih odnosih, dosežen na podlagi odnosa zaupanja, vzpostavljenega med dr. Cerarjem in pokojnim predsednikom vlade Shinzom Abejem v času njegovega mandata. Ta napredek vključuje projekte na področju energetike in ustanovitev nove tovarne industrijskih robotov podjetja Yaskawa Electric. Poudarila je, da je to odlikovanje zasluženo priznanje viziji in voditeljstvu dr. Cerarja ter hkrati dokaz skupnih prizadevanj vseh, ki si prizadevajo za krepitev sodelovanja med državama.

On 11 June, Ambassador Yoshida hosted a reception at her official residence to celebrate the conferment of the Grand Cordon of the Order of the Rising Sun upon Dr Miroslav Čerar, Jr. former Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia.
This honour recognises Mr Cerar’s exceptional contributions to bilateral relations, particularly in the fields of economics and science and technology, throughout his tenure as Prime Minister.
In her remarks, Ambassador Yoshida reflected on the significant progress achieved in bilateral relations building on the relationship of trust established between Dr Cerar and the late Prime Minister Shinzo Abe during his tenure. This progress includes demonstration projects in the energy sector and the establishment of a new industrial robot factory by Yaskawa Electric. She emphasized that this decoration is a well-deserved tribute to Dr. Cerar's vision and leadership, as well as a testament to the collective efforts of everyone dedicated to advancing cooperation between the two nations.
The reception was attended by numerous distinguished guests and close associates of Dr. Cerar, providing an excellent opportunity to celebrate his outstanding achievements and exchange views on future bilateral cooperation.
