V sredo, 24. aprila, je v Kočevju potekala slovesnost ob položitvi temeljnega kamna za gradnjo dveh novih Yaskawinih objektov, ki so se je udeležili predsednik vlade dr. Golob, minister za gospodarstvo, turizem in šport g. Han, župan mesta Kočevje dr. Prebilič in vodstvo družbe Yaskawa. Slovesnost je spremljal tudi poslovni dogodek pod pokroviteljstvom kabineta predsednika vlade, kjer je dr. Golob izrazil upanje za nadaljnji razvoj sodelovanja med Japonsko in Slovenijo. Dogodka se je udeležila tudi veleposlanica Yoshida in je spregovorila o možnostih za nadaljnji razvoj gospodarskih odnosov med državama.
On Wednesday, 24 April, a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of two new Yaskawa facilities was held in Kočevje, attended by the Prime Minister Dr Golob, the Minister of Economy, Tourism and Sport Mr Han, the Mayor of Kočevje Dr Prebilič and Yaskawa executives. The ceremony was also accompanied by a business event under the auspices of the Prime Minister's Office, where Dr Golob expressed his hope for the further development of cooperation between Japan and Slovenia. Ambassador Yoshida also attended the event and spoke about the opportunities for further development of economic relations between the two countries.
