Ime organizacije, ki je prejela nagrado: Judo zveza Slovenije.
Zveza je bilo ustanovljena leta 1952 in se že več kot 70 let posveča promociji in poučevanju juda v Sloveniji. Za promocijo juda in izboljšanje tehnike slovenskega juda si je prizadevala s skupnimi treningi in seminarji z judoisti in trenerji z Japonske, organizirala državna in evropska prvenstva ter pripravila prve zlate judoiste na olimpijskih igrah leta 2012. Od leta 2019 sodeluje z veleposlaništvom pri izvedbi dogodka Kagami-biraki, kjer je skupaj z organizacijami japonskih borilnih veščin predstavljena japonska kultura in prispeva k širjenju juda ter spodbujanju prijateljstva in medsebojnega razumevanja preko juda.

The association was established in 1952 and has devoted more than 70 years to promoting and teaching judo in Slovenia. It has worked to promote judo and improve the techniques of Slovenian judo by inviting judo athletes and coaches from Japan, organising joint training and seminars, organising national and European championships, and producing the first gold medallists at the 2012 Olympics. From 2019, in cooperation with the Embassy, it organises a 'Kagamibiraki' event, to introduce Japanese culture together with Japanese martial arts organisations, thereby contributing to the popularisation of judo and the promotion of friendship and mutual understanding through judo.
