Predavanje in demonstracija ikebane (1. oktober 2024)

1. oktobra smo izvedli predavanje in demonstracijo ikebane, ene izmed tradicionalnih japonskih kulturnih umetnosti. Po uvodnem nagovoru veleposlanice Yoshide in uvodu v zgodovino ikebane, ki ga je podal Miroslav Gavran, predsednik Kulturno umetniškega društva Kado, je Mayumi Mezaki, vodja šole aranžiranja cvetja Ikenobo, predstavila duh in tehnike ikebane, od tradicionalnega sloga rikka do sodobnega sloga free style ikebana, predstavljenih pa je bilo pet del. Dogodka so se udeležili japonski in slovenski kulturni predstavniki, ki živijo v Sloveniji, in so si po demonstraciji izmenjali mnenja o japonski in slovenski kulturi.
On 1 October, a lecture and demonstration on ikebana, a traditional Japanese cultural art form, was held. After an opening address by Ambassador Yoshida and an introduction to the history of ikebana by Miroslav Gavran, President of the Slovenian Ikebana Association, Mayumi Mezaki, Ikenobo Ikebana Director, gave a demonstration, introducing the spirit and techniques of ikebana, from the traditional style of rikka to the modern style of free style ikebana, and five works were presented. Japanese and Slovenian cultural representatives living in Slovenia attended the event and after the demonstrations exchanged views on Japanese and Slovenian culture.
