Hanami (Festival češnjevih cvetov) v EXPANU v Murski Soboti (29. marec 2025)

V soboto, 29. marca, je v EXPANU v Murski Soboti potekal Hanami.
Češnje, posajene v parku EXPANO, so bile podarjene Mestni občini Murska Sobota ob 30. obletnici vzpostavitve diplomatskih odnosov med Slovenijo in Japonsko leta 2022.
Slovesnost sajenja češenj je spremljalo odprtje uvodne razstave Expo v znamenju Expo 2025 Osaka-Kansai, ki se bo odprla 13. aprila.
Slovesnosti so se udeležili minister za kohezijo in regionalni razvoj dr. Aleksander Jevšek in številni drugi uradniki. Obiskovalce pa so nagovorili župan Damjan Anželj, predsednik podjetja Zaria Corporation Yukio Mori, častni občan mesta in donator češnjevih dreves, veleposlanica Yoshida, Bojan Kar, direktor Razvojnega centra Murska Sobota. Nagovore je zaključila predstavnica SPIRIT Slovenija, ki je predstavila sodelovanje in pomen sodelovanja Slovenije na Expu. Sledila je zasaditev 33. novega češnjevega drevesa.
Češnjeva drevesa so simbol nadaljnjega poglabljanja izmenjav in spodbujanja prijateljstva med državama.
On Saturday, 29 March, Hanami took place at EXPANO in Murska Sobota.
The cherry trees planted in EXPANO Park were donated to the Municipality of Murska Sobota on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Slovenia and Japan in 2022.
The cherry planting ceremony was accompanied by the opening of the inaugural Expo 2025 Osaka-Kansai Expo, which will open on 13 April.
The ceremony was attended by the Minister for Cohesion and Regional Development, Dr Aleksander Jevšek, and other dignitaries. The visitors were addressed by Mayor Damjan Anželj, President of Zaria Corporation Yukio Mori, Honorary Citizen of the city and donor of the cherry trees, Ambassador Yoshida, Bojan Kar, Director of the Development Centre Murska Sobota.The speeches were concluded by the representative of SPIRIT Slovenia, who presented the cooperation and the importance of Slovenia's participation at the Expo. This was followed by the planting of the 33rd new cherry tree.
The cherry trees are a symbol of further deepening exchanges and promoting friendship between the two countries.
